TECHNOLOGY
DEEP INJECTION

An object:

3-storey residential building with a basement with a total area of 600 m2 . The foundation of the house is a monolithic strip with a depth of from -1.8 m up-to -2.2 m

Address:

Moscow region.

Method:

Deep injection.

Problem:

During the visual inspection the vertical cracks were found at the junction of the structure of the walls as well as the openings of the joints of the prefabricated floor slabs. The nature of the formation of cracks indicated an uneven deformation at the base of the foundation of the part of the building attached to the main building.

Goal:

Partial strengthening of the soil under the building extension and the capture of the wall at the junction.

Solution:

Strengthening of the foundation soil was carried out in two levels at  depth of 2.9 m and 2.3 m directly under the foundation. The works and area were constantly monitored by a "laser level" in real time, during the filling of the voids in the base of the foundation.
