Problem:
After completing the installation of the foundation slab, completing the construction and installing the necessary equipment, the customer found a 170 mm sudsidence of one of the corners of the building. After a comprehensive survey, the company Uretekk ground engineering, confirmed this roll, recorded voids under the floor slab with a capacity of up to 70 mm,and found decompression of the base soil at a level of up to-5 m from the daily surface.
Task:
Strengthen the foundation soil and re-level the foundation slab in horizontal marks, with an error of + / -10 mm.
Decision:
The first step in these works for the specialists of Uretek ground Engineering LLC was to inject a geopolymer barrier in order to prevent large masses of material from leaving the boundaries of the existing foundation of treatment facilities. the second step was to strengthen the base soil in a vertical plane from -3 m to the ground underlying layers to create a stable geomass. The third step was to lift and re-level the slab in the horizon and the last step was to fill the previously identified and new voids appeared after lifting stage. All work on lifting and leveling the structure was carried out under the constant supervision of the geodesic service by the customer and specialists of Uretek ground engineering. No one at the facility could have imagined that such a thing was even possible.
